Kettlebells earn their place in a commercial gym because one piece of kit covers swings, cleans, presses, carries and squats without taking up a single square metre more than it has to. The Altrafit range is built for that kind of daily, shared use — sized from 4kg through to 32kg so you can equip a full functional zone from one range and add weights as your members progress.
Cast iron or rubber-coated?
-
Cast iron kettlebells — the traditional choice. A single-cast body with a smooth, wide handle that suits chalk, double-hand work and technical lifting. Available 4kg to 32kg.
-
Rubber-coated kettlebells — the same profile with a protective outer coat, so drops are quieter and kinder to flooring. Worth the small premium in studios, on upper floors, or anywhere the kettlebells sit next to other equipment. Available 4kg to 32kg.
Storage and floor layout
Loose kettlebells are a trip hazard and a tidy-up job that never ends. Our 2-tier and 3-tier kettlebell racks keep a full ladder of weights in one footprint, off the floor and visible — which in practice means they get put back. The 3-tier rack suits a full 4–32kg ladder; the 2-tier works well in smaller studios or as a second station in a busy functional area.
Buying kettlebells for a gym or leisure centre
Most operators start with a doubled-up spread of the middle weights — 8kg to 16kg see the heaviest use in classes and inductions — then add single heavier bells at the top end. If you are fitting out a new site or refreshing an existing one, talk to us before you order: we can price a full ladder plus storage as one package and advise on quantities based on your class sizes and floor space.
